Job Description
We are seeking outstanding, outgoing, well-spoken individuals to introduce Digital Media Marketing services to organizations in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey and nationwide.
Introduce AdEdge to local and national businesses and share information about our digital marketing solutions including SEO, SEM, digital advertising, social media advertising and reputation management. Contact businesses, attend networking events, set up local presentations, prepare proposals, pitch companies, prepare contracts and execute contracts. Be a part of the early implementation process by introducing clients to the operations team and attending the initial kick-off calls. Keep in touch with clients on a regular basis providing basic account updates and performance and escalate any advanced issues to the operations team.
This position offers training, support, sales management potential and an extremely generous commission structure with income goals of $40k-$80k within the first year for a talented and motivated candidate regardless of experience. Experienced candidates or those with local business contacts can expect to earn significantly more. This is a work-remote position that will require occasional travel to client locations as needed and weekly meetings at our office located in Westport, CT.
With demand for digital media marketing at an all-time high, our salespeople are enjoying extremely short and easy sales cycles.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate the value of AdEdge Online Marketing digital media services to prospective clients.
- Make contact with prospective clients via phone, in person and/or electronic means.
- Meet new business prospects at local networking events, seminars and business development groups.
- Maintain a history of contacts, conversations and follow-ups in the client database.
- Set appointments and invite appropriate members of AdEdge on client calls and meetings.
- Offer and provide free client consultations to clients who request it.
- Work with internal staff to create customized client presentations.
- Distribute business cards, sell sheets and/or company brochures as necessary.
- Manage accounts and maintain positive relationships with all past, present and future contacts.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned or as necessary to achieve your goals.
Requirements:
- Experience in a sales role or closely related role working with people is required.
- Enjoy working with people and providing solutions to small and medium sized businesses.
- Understanding of digital marketing or advertising is highly desired. Enthusiasm is required.
- Existing relationships with business owners and marketing professionals is extremely helpful.
- Complete all tasks required to make sales and service existing accounts.
- Be naturally motivated and have the ability to self-manage and follow-up, on time, as necessary.
- Be an excellent communicator with a professional yet personable style.
- Be honest and have the highest degree of integrity.
- Professional and personal references are required.
- An extremely generous commission is offered in lieu of salary and benefits.
